Halong Bay

We did another 3-day, 2 night experience for this one...

watching beautiful sunsets,

sleeping on a junk,

sharing food with nice people,

and recovering from kayaking mishaps.

Ninh Binh, Vietnam

We bicycled through rice paddy fields, and saw many a grave - the little white things at the base of the limestone karst. If a family doesn't have enough money, they just bury their relatives anywhere...until the government needs the land, and then the body has to be moved.

Jeep Tour
Mui Ne, Vietnam

Sadly, I didn't get to drive...

I am now a pro at sand sledding.

The press crew even appeared to capture me at my best.Actually, they were here for a photo shoot of these poor women who had to parade back and forth across the dunes while carrying their baskets.
